A Year of Glamorous Pink

Raise the pink champagne flute to Pantones choice of the “it” color for 2011, welcome “honeysuckle”, a lush pink laced with just the ever so slight spiciness that only an orange can bring to it.

I find it delightful and a full turn from last years cool as a breeze turquoise. Honeysuckle is a full and bold color and we can expect to see all shades of blush, corals and pinks dominating home decor and fashion this coming year.

So to kick off the year, the House of Deva blog and the launch of Honeysuckle into our lives some pink glamorous and devine rooms….perhaps they shall plant a little seed in your mind and have you embrace the new chic shade choice for 2011.

Deep rose and browns play wonderful with bright pops of pink pillows, dental molding and damask. Loving this room, it seems so warm and glam all at once. A room that you could curl up with a good book, or throw a martini party. Very sexy.
